About

Loriven helps businesses understand what is really happening before deciding what to do about it.

The problem presented first is not always the problem that needs to be solved. A recurring people issue, stalled decision or growing workload may be the visible result of something deeper in the way the business is structured, led or operating.

Loriven gives founders and business leaders the space to step back, recognise those underlying patterns and make clearer, more deliberate decisions.

How we work

Loriven’s role is not to make decisions for you. It’s to help you see the issue more clearly, challenge the assumptions surrounding it and determine the most useful way forward.

Step back

Create enough distance from the immediate pressure to examine the wider situation.

Look beneath the surface

Identify the patterns, conditions and assumptions that may be shaping the visible problem.

Move forward deliberately

Decide what deserves attention and define a practical next step.

Behind Loriven

Roberta Robertson, Founder

Loriven grew from Roberta’s experience working inside organisations where the visible problem was rarely the whole problem. Across corporate governance, legal, operational and leadership roles, she became known for looking beyond the immediate issue, identifying what was being missed and bringing structure to complex situations.

Her approach combines careful questioning, pattern recognition and practical business judgment. She does not arrive with predetermined answers. She works with leaders to understand the situation more fully, challenge the assumptions shaping it and determine what makes sense for the business.
